CHRISTOPHER DRAJEM is a writer, educator and LGBTQ+ advocate. He has taught high school English, mostly in the Pacific Northwest, since 2000. In January 2013, Christopher and the love of his life Patrick were legally wed in the state of Washington. This was merely a formality, as they had marked their commitment in an August 2001 ceremony in front of family and friends, many from Buffalo and Long Island, where they were born and raised. In 2003 they adopted their daughter, Isabella, and in 2007 the family was complete when they adopted a son, Jordan. In 2008, he teamed up with another adoptive parent to provide quarterly training for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples who are in the process of adopting. He has presented numerous workshops on LGBTQ+ inclusive curriculum in schools. Christopher currently lives in Philadelphia.
